Careers
We're a small studio that hires slowly. The people on our team tend to share a few things: a strong engineering or design craft, an allergy to corporate theater, and a real interest in the products they help create.
Why work with us
You'll work on products that matter to the people using them, alongside engineers and designers who are genuinely senior. We don't have a layered hierarchy; we don't have endless slide decks; we don't have a "growth at all costs" attitude. We have clients we like, projects we choose carefully, and a culture of honest feedback.
We're remote-first across our three offices, with overlap windows that respect everyone's evenings. Compensation is competitive for senior practitioners and structured to reward staying with us long enough to deeply understand the work.
Open positions
If a role below sounds like you, send us a note at support@trueleaftech.com with a short paragraph about your work and a link or two we can dig into.
Don't see your role? We're always interested in meeting strong practitioners. Send a note anyway.
What you can expect
Our average engineer has nine-plus years of experience. You'll be surrounded by people who've shipped real software, not by a long pyramid of juniors stretched thin.
We don't operate in a panic. Most of our coordination happens in writing; meetings exist when they earn their place; nobody is expected to be online at all hours.
You'll own meaningful work end-to-end, with the runway to make architectural decisions and the support of teammates who'll review them honestly.
We hire slowly because we plan for the people on our team to be here for years. Compensation, growth, and project rotation are all designed for that.
Let's build
Whether you're testing a hypothesis or scaling an established product, we'd be glad to spend a half-hour helping you think through the next step — no pitch deck required.
